Leek Carentan 3

A late, high yield variety, wintering well in the field. The pseudostem of medium length and thickness, with a thicker bulb. It should be sown at the beginning of March into boxes or pallets under covers. The seedlings are planted in the ground in May, spaced 30-50x15-20 cm, to a depth of 2/3 of the plant length. It can be sown directly into the ground at the beginning of May, in rows as specified above. It requires fertile, humus soil, rich in water, and deep cultivated.
