Runner Bean Kontra

A dwarf variety forming tendrils. The tendrils can be 35–40 cm long, about 15% of plants do not grow tendrils. It is the variety giving high yield, resistant to anthracnose and tolerating blight. It is recommended for commercial and for amateur cultivation, and does not require supports. The plants are of 40–45 cm in height. The seeds are elongated, slightly flattened, white, and veined. 1000 seeds weigh about 1000–1200 g. The growing season lasts about 118 days.
