Onion Wenta

A variety with red-purple hue of peel, medium late, with a high yield. The flesh is hard, juicy, purple-white with red rings. It is distinguished by its high vitamin C content. The onions are large, of an average weight of 90–100 g, slightly flattened to spherical, with a narrow neck. The peel is dry and well adhering. This variety can be stored until June. It does not show a tendency for growing chives. It can be produced from spring onions.
