Pattypan squash Gagat

An early, branching variety useful for direct consumption and processing. The flesh is light creamy, crisp. The fruit is disc-shaped (of 20 cm in diameter, 8 cm high) with a smooth surface. The skin is dark green in young fruit, and nearly black in older ones. The yield of small fruit (6–8 cm) is about 40 tonnes/ha.
