Tomato Tolek
A medium-early variety designated to be cultivated under unheated covers and in the field, for the fresh market and for processing (purées, juices). The plant is characterised by an indeterminate growth (requires tying), with a yield ranging from 4.0 and 6.2 kg per plant, depending on conditions. The fruit is medium hard, large (300–400 g on average), even up to 500 g, of spherical-flattened shape and light ribs, and full tomato flavour and aroma. Both fruit and thick flesh are intensely red. Pruning to obtain a single or a double stem plant. Fertilising procedures typical for the species. The fruit can be peeled without scalding.
