(Diplotaxis tenuifolia)
Wild rocket
(Diplotaxis tenuifolia)
It is a perennial plant easy to cultivate, with lobed leaves. Their pungent flavour perfectly supplements salad mixes, cocktails, and sandwiches. The wild rocket is a source of many nutrients, vitamins: А, C, K, and B, and minerals: calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and zinc. It also contains essential oils, folic acid, and alpha-linolenic acid that gives it its light nut flavour. The wild rocket also contains sulphuric amino acids, which give it its pungent flavour and anti-bacterial properties. The wild rocket contains about 20% of plant proteins.
