A Mediterranean plant, easy to cultivate, with fragrant, slightly pungent leaves containing many micronutrients and vitamins. The leaf rosettes grow to the height of 15–20 cm, and grow back after cutting. The leaves are an excellent addition to mixed leaf salads. They are an excellent addition to meat, fish, eggs, cheese, tomato, or sandwiches, etc. They can be harvested already 3 weeks after sowing.
